Rooting for Change: LEAD Foundation Sprouts Excitement at Parliament

At the forefront of tree restoration and protection, LEAD Foundation stands as a beacon of innovation
and dedication. Recently, our organization had the honor of presenting our pioneering programs to the
esteemed Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Welfare and Development.

Represented by our Director of Programs – Njamasi Chiwanga, LEAD Foundation showcased our cutting-edge restoration methods such as Kisiki Hai, Half-moon bunds and Fanya juu/chini, designed to restore and sustain our precious ecosystems. The committee was provided with insights into the current impact of these initiatives and our ambitious plans for the future.

In our presentation, we emphasized not only the tangible results achieved thus far but also our
unwavering commitment to continued progress and sustainability. By engaging with governmental
bodies like the parliamentary committee, LEAD Foundation aims to garner support and collaboration for
policies and resources that will amplify the impact of our environmental endeavors. The committee was
impressed with our work and praised us for our dedication and impact in environmental restoration and
protection.

At LEAD Foundation, we believe that by working together with lawmakers and stakeholders, we can
pave the way for a greener, more resilient future. Our participation in the parliamentary session
